Week 3 is all wrapped up, I hope everyone enjoyed the week and was able to walk away with some winnings. We saw yet again last week how fading the chalk plays can be very profitable in tournaments. Monday night’s slate was tough, and the optimal lineup ended up being a Graham Gano CPT team… We have had to suffer through the last two primetime games, but tonight should be a good one. The 3-0 Miami Dolphins are fresh off of a huge win against the Bills and head to Cincinnati to take on the 1-2 Cincinnati Bengals. The Bengals are 3.5-point home favorites in a game that features a 48-point total. Below I will go over my top plays of the slate, my favorite value options at a $/point ratio, some leverage plays for tournaments, my favorite cheap options of the night, and some ideas for roster construction. Best of luck to everyone.
If you haven’t yet, check out Jon’s latest video on YouTube (Jon Anderson). He goes over a quick demo on how to utilize his projection Tableau Dashboard. There’s some really good stuff on there, and so much more than just base projections.
As always, you can find the link to Jon's DK contest below that runs every week.
TOP PLAYS:
JA’MARR CHASE. SALARY: $11,000. PROJ: 17.67
Chase is coming off of a historical rookie season at the WR position and continues to be the alpha of this Bengals team. Leading the team in both target share (29.33%) and air yards share (37%). The box scores haven’t blown you away thus far, but Chase can drop 30 DK points in any game. He could come in under-owned at $11k tonight, allowing us an opportunity to “pay up to be contrarian”, especially at the CPT position.
