I put $3 on every BOOM hitter to homer yesterday and scooped up some Chipotle money. Here’s how it went:

  1. James Wood $3 won $15 (+$12)

  2. Juan Soto $3 won $14.70 (+$11.70)

  3. Austin Riley $3 lost

  4. Seiya Suzuki $3 lost

  5. Josh Jung $3 lost

  6. Ronald Acuna Jr. $3 won $12.30 (+$9.30)

  7. Oneil Cruz $3 lost

  8. Lars Nootbaar $3 won $18.00 (+$15.00)

That’s +$36 baby! Two trips to Chipotle, or three if I really restrain my order.

Here are today’s BOOM hitters:

Projection-Powered Props

That Stu guy told me he’d be back on it today. He’s been traveling. And that’s fine by me, I appreciate his contributions. I’m not paying him very much! But here’s what I have for you tonight.

Charlie Morton Over 15.5 Outs

If you read the daily notes very, very carefully, you’ll already know that Charlie Morton is patently #HOT.

You will also have seen him listed as the best SP streamer of the day.

And you see there that my model is much closer to six innings than it is to five. Getting a + price on going over 15.5 outs seems like a steal!

Jacob Latz Under 4.5 Hits Allowed +120

Latz has been working in differing roles for Texas. He made a start on the 19th and threw 82 pitches, so he’s temporarily functioning as a starter. But it’s hard to feel like he’s truly built up. His pitch counts prior to this recent 82 were 30, 25, and 60.

I could see it being a short outing for Latz. He’s also been a pretty effective arm with a 16.6% K% and a .229 xBA against.

The Bat X and my own model are liking under 4.5 here for the +120 price.
