I’m 0/1 in winning a ton of money in DFS this week. That’s very sad. It is ridiculous and unfair when I do not get exactly what I want from the world.

I’m not going game-by-game today, I don’t have the time on this big Tuesday slate. But I will give you my favorite spots from the main slate on DraftKings. Stu will be on later with some prop bets of his own, but I figured I’d give you the top recommended boys right off the top here.

Props

Jackson Jobe Over 4.5 Strikeouts +130

Jobe doesn’t look like a strikeout pitcher so far. But the raw stuff seems to be there to give him some hope. Maybe there are just some tweaks needed to make his stuff a bit harder to hit. But that’s not the point for this matchup. The Rockies projected lineup has these strikeout rates in it (vs. RHP):

  • Toglia 36.5%

  • Beck 33.7%

  • McMahon 28.8%

  • Doyle 26.9%

  • Moniak 25.7%

  • Goodman 25.7%

  • Trejo 23.0%

  • Farmer 21.6%

  • Martini 20.0%

Every single player above 20%, and two-thirds of the lineup above 25.5%. There’s no better spot for strikeouts than a right-handed pitcher against the Rockies. And they’re not much better at making contact at home, like you might think (27.3% K% at home, 28.4% on the road). It’s a great spot for Jobe to set a new career high in strikeouts (he would only need six to do that).
