The Lineup
It was a low-scoring week with a ton of the chalk massively busting. I avoided the Jayden Daniels injury catastrophe (he was 50% owned in double ups and played only 10 snaps), but fell into the Jordan Whittington and Juju Smith-Schuster airballs. Whittington was apparently not healthy and hardly saw the field. Juju got hurt in the first quarter and did not return.
The biggest problem with the lineup was probably the 8.1 points from $7500 Malik Nabers. He fell victim to the Giants not being able to move the ball. Most of the field elected Drake London over him for $600 cheaper, and that worked against me.
The Geno Smith play saved me from a total disaster, and I took 39% of head-to-heads to get a chunk of my investment back.
Results
I finished around the 60th percentile in double ups and the Hundos, and then took 30 of 77 head-to-heads. Overall it was a bad -52% ROI.
This week is really hard to take any lessons from. It was a really tough slate from the beginning, and injuries were such a big part of it. I compared my lineup with some of the pros, and it was basically the same. Tons of people were on Njoku/Juju/Whittington. So I was lucky to avoid Daniels and unlucky to go with Nabers over London.
We’ll take the loss in strideand move on to next week!
