Projection Powered Player Props - June 25
Stuart Durst is back with his best bets for this MLB slate!
Sorry for the delay on getting these out, I was traveling to my Grandmother's 90th birthday party last weekend and got caught with some pretty rough travel days. Back home and ready to pick up where we left off with a couple MLB player props. Awesome day game action with some elite young pictures, but still plenty of good value on the late slate!
Logan Webb 6+ K’s/Dodgers ML
Odds: +108
Book: ESPN/DK
Projection: 6.81
Logan Webb is one of the best pitchers in baseball, and he’s even tougher to hit at home. He’s 4-1 with a 1.35 ERA along with the lowest xFIP (2.32) and 3rd lowest SEIRA (2.70). Over the last month he’s 3rd in K-BB% and has posted 6+ strikeouts in 9 of his last 12 starts. He’s been extremely consistent in the strikeout department and should have success against an aggressive Marlins lineup.
Logan Webb’s out line is also set at an insanely high 20.5 number, which implies it’s very likely he gets super deep into this game. The Marlins are free swinging and will make some contact, but with the long leash he should be able to climb the K ladder and he gets deeper into this game. They have multiple great strikeout targets, and Webb is electric at home.
Going to continue to fade the historically bad Rockies with the Dodgers ML here tonight. Chase Dollander (2-7 6.19 ERA) gets a rough matchup, and the bats aren't good for the Rockies recently. Yoshinobu Yamamoto has been great, and his pitch mix really shouldn't be affected by the Coors conditions, I like his upside tonight (as do the projections). Added some smaller plays on Webb/Yoshi 6+ strikeouts +130 and 8+ K’s each at +894.
