Starts & Sits Advice :: 5/2-5/3
Looking at today's and tomorrow's SP projections to help you make daily lineup and streamer decisions.
Here we go number two, still free for all! This will be a more “normal” format moving forward, I am writing it quickly first thing in the morning, even before the daily notes, to get it out for everybody. So there won’t be a ton of extra commentary or joke attempts or anything like that.
Today :: 2024-05-02
Very light day today. There are no true aces on the board, although I could see some people squabbling about me having Eovaldi and Rodon in the second section. If you have Eovaldi, Cabrera, or Rodon, you’re certainly starting them, but I just want to have some kind of categorical difference between these types and the game’s best pitchers. I hope that makes sense. I feel pretty shaky about all three of those guys for different reasons - and I want to have some simple way to make that clear.

JP Sears vs. MIA
Erick Fedde vs. STL
Ryan Weathers vs. OAK
Martin Perez vs. COL
you have Houck listed as the starter for tomorrow, is that accurate? i'm seeing 5/4.
Excellent useful breakdown that any sub can consume over breakfast. If you get a chance though slash a line through Zac Gallen on tomorrow’s sheet. He’s always a start (maybe not at Coors) but is out until Tuesday with a hamstring injury.
