My guy Rob DePietro (@deadpullhitter) brought up a good point/idea after checking out what I wrote yesterday.

He suggested I add a “points above replacement” to the mix. That will give us a good idea of how to choose when to draft a pitcher and when to draft a hitter.
These are calculated by comparing each player’s projection to the projection of the “replacement” at the position. I used Rob’s advice and took about the #80 player at each position, since 80*3=240 which is the full length of an Underdog Best Ball Draft.
The replacement values:
OF: 1,721
IF: 1,902
SP: 1,808
I have made a new Excel file that combines hitters, pitchers, and then a third tab to bring them all together and compare their PARs together.
You can scrap the other two sheets I sent yesterday and just use this one, it’s much better to have everything in one location.
