Week 10 Waiver Wire Targets
Quick hits looking at potential players to target on the week six waiver wire.
I’m going to try to keep this a bit shorter this week. Not only for time’s sake either, I think it’s better to just really focus in on the options I actually think are useful pickups.
Early 2-Start Streaming Options
It’s Friday as I write this, so the schedules are all subject to change, but here are some available two-start pitchers I don’t hate for next week.
Alec Marsh (vs. MIN & SD)
Gavin Stone (vs. NYM & COL)
Zack Littell (vs. OAK & BAL)
Pitchers
Duh
Bryan Woo (51% Owned): I’m guessing Woo is not available in any of my reader’s leagues, but just in case. He’s awesome.
Taj Bradley (32% Owned): He might be available in leagues where there aren’t IL spots or something and nobody wanted to waste a spot on him for a month, but he should be owned right now for sure. He’s shown a fantastic 32% K% and 4.2% BB% with an elite 16.8% SwStr% in his first three starts. There are no questions about the stuff, and we’re seeing great signs on the command front early on. Go get him.
Luis Gil (73% Owned): Just making sure you know that Gil is a must-own now with the great 19% K-BB% and improving walk rate.
MacKenzie Gore (30% Owned): This is another guy who is probably not available in reader leagues, but the 30% there is striking, so maybe he is. He sports a strong 3.44 SIERA to back up his 3.30 ERA and the 19% K-BB% is strong.
Christian Scott (20% Owned): We don’t get to see him as often as other guys as he’s currently in this six-man rotation, and he had a pretty bad third start to his career which pushed his ERA up to 4.32 and the WHIP up to 1.32. That said, he still sports an elite 15.6% SwStr% and nice 34.2% Ball% with an 18% K-BB%. He has swinging-strike rates above 12% on four different pitches and the command has always been great, he’s still a must-own pitcher in my book.
