Weekly NFL Projections!
We have NFL football in just two days! So here we are again, with another year with the NFL projection model.
There are two ways to access it.
Google Sheet
Tableau Dashboard
Here’s a peek at what the Tableau looks like:
I personally like the Tableau Dashboard a lot more because it’s much easier to filter and click around, however, the dashboard doesn’t always get the updates quickly - so the Google Sheet is the best place to go for the most up-to-date projections.
The link to the Tableau dashboard is below the paywall, but for week one - I’ll keep the Google Sheet free for everybody to check out.

Bookmark that link, that’s where it will stay - but next week I’ll be granting access to only paid subs.
I am going to keep the technical details under wraps, but I will outright admit that this isn’t a very complex model. Maybe someday I’ll really get into developing it from the ground up, but for now - it’s pretty soft.
I would not really expect these projections to compete with other systems you’d pay the big bucks for, but the good news is - I’m not asking for big bucks! Just $9/month or $75/year (and that gets you everything - the entire MLB product as well).
I also do not have the granular stat projections to show you - so you only see the final fantasy point projection - as well as a position-adjusted value score. This means that this stuff is not useful for prop betting, and you can’t even adjust it to your own custom league’s scoring system.
So all-in-all, it’s not a great product! But again it’s cheap, and a pretty decent way to get a feel for who is good and who is bad each week. Click here to view the DraftKings NFL scoring system, that’s the one we’re using here.
The best thing I can offer is the main NFL Tableau dashboard. It has almost all the data you could want (air yards, snaps, targets, etc.), with a bunch of visualizations and customizations and whatnot - check out last year’s version here. This year’s dashboard will be up either on Friday or next Monday.
Hope this helps! And more importantly, I hope it keeps most of my current paid subs around for the winter! Don’t leave me, please - please! I’ll beg!
