Part one covered the first 33 outfielders, and we’ll cover another 33 names here before wrapping up “the rest” in part three.


Tier Five

The tiers are getting large, and there will be a diverse set of players in each one. That makes it tough to summarize the tiers. With each guy, you have some categories they don’t project well in. There’s also plenty of age-related or sample-size-related risk with these guys.

#34 Colton Cowser: Good power and sneaky speed, but the higher strikeout rate makes him a bit volatile.

#35 Randy Arozarena: You still have 20-20 ability here (he did exactly that last year), but the ceiling is not much above that in those categories, and he’s not much of a batting average or counting stat guy. I’m not feeling Randy this year.

#36 Brandon Nimmo: He’s potentially a problem in batting average and steals, but I like the 20-25 homers and strong R + RBI production near the top of the Mets lineup.
